HVAC Replacement & Installation

A new system sized to the building — not to the old unit's label.

Replacement starts with the building, the duct system, and how the space actually feels. Then we recommend capacity and configuration that will serve the property properly.

Why sizing matters

Matching the old unit's tonnage often repeats the old unit's problems.

An older system may never have been sized correctly for the building — or the building may have changed since it was installed. Additions, renovated spaces, modified ductwork, and new insulation all change what the system needs to do.

Before recommending replacement capacity, Liberty Mechanical evaluates the building load, the existing distribution system, airflow, installation access, and drainage. That creates a better basis for equipment selection than simply swapping like-for-like.

The result is a properly planned scope, a clean installation, and a system that gets tested and documented before we leave — under SC Mechanical Contractor License M112990.

The replacement process

Assess. Propose. Install and test.

01

Assess the building, not just the unit

We evaluate the load, ductwork, airflow, and access before recommending capacity — so the new system fits the property, not just the old unit's label.

02

Propose a clear scope

You receive a written scope covering equipment, supporting components, access, and testing — explained before any work begins.

03

Clean install and final testing

Installation is managed directly, then the system is tested and documented with photographs and a written summary.

Not sure it's time to replace?

We'll compare another repair against a planned replacement honestly — and tell you when a repair is the better call right now.
